The Big Boylan
Bash 2004
The incredible
"The Big Boylan Bash 2004" will be
Sunday,
August 1st from 5-
The first organizational meeting was Sunday April 18. We divided into
small committees and will be doing most of the work through the committees. These
are the committees and their point people. Please consider helping with this
event this year. Start by calling the point people and offer what you can. In
some instances we don’t need help until the day of the event. In others we need
help now. Our next organizational meeting is Monday, May 3rd at
at 412 S. Boylan.
In addition, we are looking for someone who will organize children’s
activities for The Bash that would last about an hour. Interested? Call
Chris Weedy at 755-3558.
News from Jeff
Groves, Boylan.Heights.org Web
Master: “I negotiated with the web
hosting provider, tera-byte.com, that we use for the BoylanHeights.org web site and we now have 50% more disk space and
50% more bandwidth per month to use at the same price as last year. I've
implemented virus scanning
on all email that goes through the
neighborhood listservs. This means that the
likelihood that a virus/trojan email will be
distributed over the
listservs
has been very much reduced.“
Participate in the 2004 Elections
With 2004 being a presidential election year, everyone is encouraged to
vote. In order to vote,
you need to register to vote at least a month or
so before the elections are held, but why wait?
