Friends of
The following resolution was approved as written in the
April BHA newsletter:
“The Boylan Heights Association supports the mission of the
Friends of Dorothea Dix Park and requests that you designate the remaining 306
acres of the Dorothea Dix Campus as a park district. We encourage you to enlist a world-class park
planner to design the use of the campus.
We ask that any profits from the park plan be allocated to the mental
health trust fund.”
This resolution will be sent to the General Assembly, City
Council and

Truck traffic on
Report written by Jim Kellenberger was read. Discussion and concerns expressed about early
morning truck traffic, heavy truckloads and parking issues.

See April BHA newsletter article for details. Jessica Schrider is coordinating trash pickup
on May 20 and May 21 at 1115 W. Lenoir, 1104 W. Cabarrus and 603 S. Boylan.

Discussion about police presence in the
neighborhood. Do not leave items unattended in your yards
or valuable items exposed in your cars.
