The meeting was called to order by the President, Jimmy Creech at 7:00 PM.
Joseph Huberman moved to set order of the day of 8:00 PM as time to hold election.

Outcome: Unanimously approved.
I. Announcements and requests for additional items for the Agenda.
- Jimmy Creech, President, announced that K.D. Reeve was retiring as editor of the Boylan Heights Newsletter and asked for volunteers. Joseph Huberman volunteered to be the new editor.
- Deaths in the neighborhood were acknowledged by Jay Spain.
- Joseph Huberman moved to set order of the day of 8:00 PM as time to hold election.

Outcome: Unanimously approved.
- Joseph Huberman moved to set order of the day of 7:30 PM for item "a" of old business.

II. Review and approve the April 2005 Minutes - Santiago Hernández, Secretary
Kenn Babs moved to approve the meeting minutes from April 2005.

III. Finance Report - Leslie Kellenberger, Treasurer
Opening Balance 1/1/2004: $2,636.51
Total Revenue for the month of May: $0
Total Revenue since 1/1/2005: $1,701.93
Expenses for the month of May: $1,273.30 (for new neighborhood directory)
Ending bank balance as of 5/23/2004: $2,770.03
Joseph Huberman moved to approve the Treasurer.s report.

c. Traffic Committee: Jimmy Creech on Behalf of Jim Kellenberger, Chairperson.
- Jimmy Creech reported that he and of the committee, will be meeting with City Councilor Thomas Crowder to inform him of our plan to request neighborhood traffic issues be resolved by the City Traffic Engerneering Department.
- Jim Kellenberger is drafting a summary of all traffic issues.
d. Memorial Day Picnic Committee -- Dan Dunbar, chairperson
- Dan reminded everyone to attend the picnic on Monday, May 30, at Project Enlightenment.
- He urged everyone to bring a plant to exchange with neighbors.
7:30 PM Set Order: Old Business item "a"
- Joseph Huberman's motion re. "Appropriate Restrictions for the Association E-mail Listservs," first moved at the March meeting, was discussed.
- Michael Zirkle moved to amend the motion by adding: "The neighborhood e-mail listservs be removed from the Web Site Commitee and a new committee be established for the neighborhood e-mail listervs with Joseph Huberman as chairperson with a one-year term."
- Second: Kim Stone
- Outcome: motion failed
- Joseph Huberman removed from his motion "Only the preceding two to three weeks of messages are retained in the archives." The revised motion was voted upon.
- Outcome: motion failed.
8:00 PM Set Order: Election of Officers
Evelyn Fahy Nominated Jimmy Creech for President, Jeff Mason Second
David Tremblay nominated Jay Spain, Ruth Bromer Second
No nominations for secretary
Joseph Huberman nominated Leslie Kellenberger for office of Treasury Chris Weedy second.
Michael Zirkle moved to elect above listed persons into associated offices for the next term.

Next Meeting
The June 2005 BHA meeting is scheduled for Tuesday June 28, 2005 from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Because Project Enlightenment is closed June through August, the location of the summer meetings will be announced later.
